Mahalia is a Writer, Director and Producer residing primarily in Dallas, TX with ties in the Los Angeles market. Formally trained in Science, Nursing and Medicine, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Colorado Technical University. She has many years of professional writing experience.
Armed with a knack and passion for creative writing, management and leadership, she decided to delve into the Entertainment Industry and pursue Talent Management and Screenwriting in 2016 beginning with managing her talented daughter who is a working Actress. In addition to talent management and film production, creating, producing and directing audio podcasts were quickly added to her professional repertoire.
Since the expansion of her professional responsibilities, she has created and produced multiple projects. With a proven track record in professional excellence in program development, team leadership and executive level management, she is committed to creating quality content and working with clients to assist them in actualizing their individualized film production goals.
Mahalia is also a devoted wife as well as the mother of two children.
